TENCANPLANETARY BALL MILLS

Ferrite wet planetary trial favorably compared with an earlier corundum-jar run.

Ferrite wet planetary trial favorably compared with an earlier corundum-jar run. Observe the grinding response; no numerical size criterion was entered.

Sample assessment

The feed was granular ferrite without a specified chemistry or magnetic-property target. A QXQM full-directional planetary machine was recorded.

Analyst consideration: For ferrite, physical refinement and preservation of magnetic or phase properties are separate questions. The favorable wet comparison should be assessed with both size distribution and any eventual functional requirement in mind.

Recorded objective

Observe the grinding response; no numerical size criterion was entered.

Equipment and selection

The machine entry is QXQM. TENCAN Laboratory Full-Directional Planetary Ball Mill is associated at the recorded series level. A horizontal operating mode, where mentioned, does not change the recorded QXQM family into WXQM.

Test setup

Jar entrySteel 500
Media entrySteel 600
Media-charge notationmedium 5 small 5
Sample-load entry100 (unit not stated)
Controller speed setting500
Cycle notation5/1

Unlabelled jar, media and load numbers remain source notation, not assigned units. Controller settings are not certified rpm. The cycle notation has no independently stated timing unit or reversing definition.

Recorded procedure and results

The setup lists a steel jar and steel media. Water, 100 g, was added and the trial ran for six hours. The result was described as better than a ten-hour corundum-jar run. The source supplies neither the earlier charge details nor numerical results for either run.

Interpretation

The recorded comparison is favorable but qualitative. It does not isolate jar material, motion or elapsed time as the cause of improvement. No magnetic property, final size distribution or controlled superiority claim is supported.

Practical precautions

Repeat with matched feed portions and a defined size metric. Keep magnetic-property requirements separate from the assessment of milling behavior and document the exact QXQM operating mode.

TENCAN alternatives to evaluate

TENCAN Vertical square planetary ball mill. A conventional vertical planetary trial can provide a comparison to the recorded QXQM ferrite run. Use the same 100 g water addition and six-hour sample rather than the incompletely specified earlier reference. A conventional vertical platform removes the additional assembly tumbling found in QXQM, providing a specific mechanical comparison when tooling, water and sample preparation are matched. This is an untested comparison proposal, not a result of this trial.

Association follows the explicit QXQM source entry; only recorded tested series/configurations are related. No jar-volume inference.
