TENCANPLANETARY BALL MILLS

SUPPORT.
AT EVERY STEP.

From the first material question to equipment already in service. Connect with the people who can help.

Start with your application

Good support starts with understanding the work. Our sales and technical teams help laboratories, research institutes and production teams review planetary mill configurations, grinding jars, media and process requirements.

For a new project, share the material, feed size, desired particle-size distribution, batch mass, operating schedule and any limits on temperature, atmosphere or contamination. Include the destination and electrical supply so the discussion covers installation as well as grinding.

  • Compare laboratory, pilot and production configurations.
  • Review jar volume, loaded mass, clamping arrangement and material compatibility.
  • Discuss equipment options and the documentation required for your project.

Choosing a Planetary Mill · Choosing Jars and Grinding Media

Free sample grinding

A trial can help assess a proposed configuration before an equipment order. Tell us what result you need to evaluate and how it will be measured. Our team will review whether the material and proposed conditions are suitable for testing.

  1. Send the material description, sample quantity and target result.
  2. Agree the equipment, jars, media, trial conditions and measurement method.
  3. Confirm the receiving address, packaging, shipping arrangements and any material handling information before dispatch.
  4. Review the recorded observations and discuss the next configuration or test.

Results apply to the sample and conditions tested. They do not guarantee the same particle size, throughput or outcome for another material or a larger machine. Sample shipment and any additional analysis should be agreed separately.

Quotations and order preparation

Once the requirements are clear, ask for a proposal identifying the selected mill, supplied jars and media, optional equipment, electrical requirements and documentation. Confirm quantities, destination, packing, delivery terms, payment arrangements and the proposed schedule in the written quotation.

For customized equipment or accessories, provide drawings and acceptance requirements early. Confirm what is included in the supplied configuration and which process tests, certificates or reports are required before the order is finalized.

Installation, operation and training

Request the operating manual for the exact model supplied. Review the installation space, equipment weight, utilities, ventilation, handling method and any site-specific requirements with our team before delivery.

Remote communication can help with setup questions, controls, jar fitting and operating procedures. If you need on-site installation or training, discuss location, timing, scope and costs in advance. An on-site visit is not automatically included with every machine.

Follow the supplied manual and your laboratory or workplace procedures. If an abnormal noise, loose component, damaged jar or other unsafe condition is noticed, stop using the equipment and contact the support team before restarting.

Jars, media and spare parts

Give us the exact mill model and serial number when requesting replacement items. For jars, include material, nominal volume, external dimensions, lid and seal arrangement, and photographs of the holder. For media, specify material, diameter mix and quantity.

Similar-looking parts can differ in fit or permitted loading. Confirm compatibility before purchasing or installing a replacement. Include photographs or identifying markings for wear parts and electrical components.

Warranty and after-sales requests

TENCAN's published manufacturer service policy describes a one-year repair warranty and replacement within the first month for qualifying faults, including specified transport damage or major component failure. Eligibility, the starting date, supplied accessories, handling costs and the remedy for a particular case must be checked against your order and warranty documents.

Contact us before returning equipment or arranging repairs. Share the model, serial number, order reference, receipt date, fault description, operating conditions and photographs or video. Our team will review the case and discuss inspection, troubleshooting, replacement parts or repair arrangements.

The website does not extend an individual warranty or promise that every issue qualifies for free replacement. Any mandatory rights applicable to your purchase remain unaffected.

Help us diagnose the issue

  • Machine model, serial number and order or quotation reference.
  • When the issue started and any displayed error message.
  • Jar material and size, media charge, sample mass and operating settings.
  • Clear photographs of the equipment, identification plate and affected part.
  • What happened immediately before the issue and whether the machine is safely stopped.

Send supporting files by email. Avoid repeated test runs if the equipment appears unsafe; wait for instructions appropriate to the model.
